Specialist in technology contracts, data protection, and intellectual property. PhD from the University of São Paulo (USP), where he researched machine learning and data protection; LL.M. from the University of Munich, in partnership with the Max Planck Institute, where he studied the civil liability of artificial intelligence systems; law degree from USP. He was a researcher in Privacy and Surveillance at InternetLab and in law and artificial intelligence at Lawgorithm.
Enrico has practiced law in data protection, tech law, and property. Today, he coordinates LGPD compliance procedures for dozens of companies. He has worked on discussions for the formulation of the LGPD itself, as well as data protection issues for some of the world’s largest technology companies.
He has taught digital law and data protection at Data Privacy Brasil and has lectured on the subject at various public and private institutions. He has participated in and coordinated several study groups on digital law, including as a consultant for a doctoral thesis on copyright at Stanford University.
